MercyMe and Matthew West take the top spots this week while new music from Fee, Casting Crowns, NEEDTOBREATHE and Robbie Seay Band comes into the Top 10.
1. God With Us - MercyMe
Think Casting Crowns' "Who Am I" and you'll get an idea of the theme behind "God With Us."
- Who are we that You would be mindful of us what do...
MercyMe has hit the bulls-eye again with this first single off of their latest album, All That Is Within Me.
2. You Are Everything - Matthew West
This song is definitely a hit for West. Off of the new release, Something To Say, Matthew West has a great deal to say after successful vocal cord surgery. This album isn't simply food for thought ... it's food for your spirit.
3. "Cinderella" - Steven Curtis Chapman
Moving up from number 5, "Cinderella" is off of This Moment and it's sure to be any parent's favorite.
4. Amazing Grace (My Chains Are Gone) - Chris Tomlin
Chris Tomlin puts a new spin on a classic hymn by adding the very powerful praise chorus "My Chains Are Gone." As always, Chris does a fine job of bringing a classic to the fore-front of the 21st Century.
5. All Because Of Jesus - Fee
Debuting this week, "All Because of Jesus" comes to us from Fee's 2007 release, We Shine. And no, he didn't cover the Casting Crowns' song; they actually covered his song!
6. Every Man - Casting Crowns
Debuting this week, "Every Man" is the latest radio release from The Altar and The Door. As always, Mark Hall hits home with the lyrics on this tune, reminding us that there are plenty of every-day type people out there waiting for somebody to give them some words of hope.
7. "Washed By The Water" - NEEDTOBREATHE
Debuting this week, "Washed By The Water" is off of NEEDTOBREATHE's 2007 The Heat. Piano driven and based on a true story, this one is a real winner.
8. Let it Fade - Jeremy Camp
Jeremy and wife Adrienne hit every note on this beautiful pop/rock tune, making it one of the best from the CD (which is excellent in itself).
9. "Song of Hope" - Robbie Seay Band
Debuting this week, "Song of Hope (Heaven Come Down)" is off of the band's 2007 release, Give Yourself Away. Reminiscent of David Crowder Band, this modern worship song is upbeat and engaging.
10. Never Going Back To OK - The Afters
"Never Going Back To OK," which debuted 11 weeks ago, is the title track off of of the band's February release. Upbeat pop is the phrase of the day and The Afters do it quite well.
