The official Top 10 Christian hit songs list is compiled by your Guide by checking and averaging Christian charts from all over the U.S. such as Billboard and R&R.
This week Newsboys sit at number one and new music from MercyMe comes in strong at number two. Other newcomers include tobyMac and Mandisa, with both of the talented artists coming in strong.
1. Something Beautiful - Newsboys

"Something Beautiful," which debuted nine weeks ago at number one, dropped a bit, but it's back at number one! This beautiful tune can be found on the remix of Go.
2. "Bring the Rain" - MercyMe

This beautiful ballad debuts this week as another notch in the MercyMe belt.
3. Undo - Rush of Fools
Midas Records
"Undo," which hit the Top 10 14 weeks ago, is off of the new debut release from this talented new band. If progressive worship is your thing, you'll love this song and this group.
4. "Give You Glory" - Jeremy Camp

"Give You Glory" debuted last in late April as the third single release off of Beyond Measure, which hit stores last October.
5. Every Time I Breathe - Big Daddy Weave
Fervent Records
The title track of the 2006 release, this song, which debuted nine weeks ago, is classic Big Daddy Weave.
6. "I'm Not Who I Was" - Brandon Heath
Provident
If you haven't heard Brandon Heath before, this is a great tune to get to know him with. From the 2006 release, Don't Get Comfortable, this song has a really nice, easy sound.
7. After the World - Disciple

"After the World," which debuted back in April, is off of the 2006 release, Scars Remain. My favorite song off of the album, this one rocks!
8. "I'm For You" - tobyMac
Forefront
Debuting this week, "I'm For You" is toby's latest, off of the Portable Sounds album. With a cool pop groove and the usual musical excellence, this is one of my favorite songs on the release.
9. Only the World - Mandisa
EMI
Debuting this week, "Only the World" is off of Mandisa's debut CD, True Beauty, which will hit stores on July 31st.
10. "Awakening" - Switchfoot

"Awakening," which debuted last week, reminds me of The Police's "Roxanne" musically and is the second radio release from Oh! Gravity.
