The official Top 10 Christian hit songs list is compiled by your Guide by checking and averaging Christian charts from all over the U.S. such as Billboard and R&R.
Third Day and Brandon Heath sit on top with vertical songs to our Creator this week while Skillet, Krystal Meyers, This Beautiful Republic and Capital Lights mix it up with some rock, some pop and some punk.
1. "Call My Name" - Third Day
"Call My Name," which debuted 17 weeks ago, is off of the new album, Revelation, which released on July 29th and rocks all the way to the top! Brad Avery may be missing, but the classic Third Day sound sure isn't.

2. "Give Me Your Eyes" - Brandon Heath
"Give Me Your Eyes," which debuted 6 weeks ago, is off of Brandon's new release, What If We, which hit stores on August 19th. A soft melody carries a big stick on this tune.

"You Reign" from All That Is Within Me is the second radio single to do really well. This week marks the 11th week it has been in the Top 10 and there will be plenty more weeks for this great song.

4. "Jesus Messiah" - Chris Tomlin
"Jesus Messiah," which debuted 8 weeks ago, is off of Chris Tomlin's new release Hello Love which hit stores on September 2, 2008. This song released to radio on June 13th and it was the most added song on Christian Adult Contemporary, Christian Hit Radio, and Christian Inspirational radio that week, with 97 total adds, (according to Radio & Records).
5. "Whispers in the Dark" - Skillet
Debuting this week, "Whispers in the Dark" is another great song off of Comatose. Imagine God encouraging you while a killer rock track played in the background ... there you go ... "Whispers in the Dark!"
6. "Whatever You're Doing" - Sanctus Real
"Whatever You're Doing," which debuted in the Top 10 two weeks ago, is a great song about finding your purpose in life off of the band's latest release, We Need Each Other.
7. "Beautiful Tonight" - Krystal Meyers
Debuting this week, "Beautiful Tonight" comes to us from Krystal's newest album, Make Some Noise. The style of music may have changed, less rock, more pop, but her message hasn't changed a bit.
8. "No Turning Back" - This Beautiful Republic
Debuting this week, this hard-core rocker is about tolerance run amok. When you're so tolerant that anything is acceptable, sin is easy to slip into. That tolerance makes a great justification in our minds, but it's nothing more than a lame excuse.
10. "Out of Control" - Capital Lights
Debuting this week off of This Is an Outrage!, "Out of Control" will get you off of your feet and moving around before you know what hit you.
