The official Top 10 Christian hit songs list is compiled by your Guide by checking and averaging Christian charts from all over the U.S. such as Billboard and R&R.
Brandon Heath and Francesca Battistelli have jumped ahead of the pack to take the two top spots in the Weekly Top 10. Big Daddy Weave and Sanctus Real, who bring new music this week, will try to do as well.
1. "Give Me Your Eyes" - Brandon Heath
"Give Me Your Eyes," which debuted 4 weeks ago, is off of Brandon's new release, What If We, which hit stores on August 19th. A soft melody carries a big stick on this tune ... big enough to knock MercyMe out of the top spot.
2. "I'm Letting Go" - Francesca Battistelli
Holding strong at #2 for the second week, "I'm Letting Go" is off of Francesca's debut album with Fervent, My Paper Heart. The song, just like the lady herself, is catchy and the pop tune is a great taste of what's to come on the rest of the album.
3. "Jesus Messiah" - Chris Tomlin
"Jesus Messiah," which debuted 6 weeks ago, is off of Chris Tomlin's new release Hello Love which hit stores on September 2, 2008. This song released to radio on June 13th and it was the most added song on Christian Adult Contemporary, Christian Hit Radio, and Christian Inspirational radio that week, with 97 total adds, (according to Radio & Records).
4. "Call My Name" - Third Day
"Call My Name," which debuted 15 weeks ago, is off of the new album, Revelation, which released on July 29th and rocks all the way to the top! Brad Avery may be missing, but the classic Third Day sound sure isn't.

6. "I Will Not Be Moved" - Natalie Grant
Natalie Grant shows that she has a little rock in her with "I Will Not Be Moved," which debuted in mid-July. Off of her latest release, Relentless, this is a great song about how being broken keeps us grounded and lets us find strength.
7. "Those Nights" - Skillet
"Those Nights," which debuted in late June, is the latest single off of 2006's Comatose. Hitting home with a wide range of people, this one "clicks" because we've all had "those nights."
8. "What Life Would Be Like" - Big Daddy Weave
Debuting this week, "What Life Would Be Like" is the title track of of Big Daddy Weave's July release.
9. "Whatever You're Doing" - Sanctus Real
Debuting this week, "Whatever You're Doing" is a great song about finding your purpose in life off of the band's latest release, We Need Each Other.
