After spending January in the studio with producers Ben Shive (Sara Groves / Matt Werz / Eric Peters), Cason Cooley (Matthew Perryman Jones / Katie Herzig / Mat Kearney / Sixpence None The Richer) and co-producer Andy Gullahorn, working on his third studio project for Centricity Music (which is yet to be named, but will release on August 21, 2012), Andrew Peterson is on the road. His first outing of 2012 is with Steven Curtis Chapman and Josh Wilson for the spring leg of the popular Songs & Stories Tour. The tour, a carryover from last year, will run through March 11th, where it will end in Ocala, Florida.
Peterson described the tour experience in a press release by saying, "Being on the road with SCC last fall was an amazing experience. Not just because of the music or the audiences; I made some great new friends in the process and got to be part of Show Hope's ministry. I can't believe we get to do it again in 2012."
Not one for long breaks, Andrew will have a few short days at home before heading back out on the road on the Counting Stars tour. From March 16 to October 6, he has 19 shows lined up (so far) to share music from his 2010 release, Counting Stars (Purchase/Download). Also on the books are five planned shows (again, so far) for his annual Behold the Lamb of God Christmas tour.
