Along with numerous one-off dates with his father, Dr. Tony Evans or with Kirk Franklin, Evans is set to join FFH for their spring tour, which starts in Bellevue, Nebraska Feb. 3rd. The tour will be in venues such as Greenville, Louisville, Charlotte and Atlanta.
He is also scheduled to perform at the Tsunami Relief Show, a Nashville event, on February 9th. After the recent Tsunami disaster in Southeast Asia, numerous Christian recording artists announced plans to perform at this special benefit concert to be held at Rocketown in downtown Nashville. Evans is proud to participate in the event and join other artists, such as Avalon and Rachael Lampa. All proceeds from the event will go to Operation Blessing.
Evans’ just completed taping two sessions for the successful student Bible study from Lifeway called Fuel: Igniting New Life with God’s Story. Especially created for today's teens, Fuel: Igniting New Life with God’s Story includes videos and music from today's popular Christian artists, all used to draw students into the essential stories of the Bible using today’s technology.
Evans’ next radio single is “Fearless,” and will be released to radio in early February. “Restore Me” is the next single that will release to INSPO radop. His first single, “Here's My Life,” went top 10 on AC radio.
There is definitely more to look forward to in 2005 from this amazing singer/songwriter. In between his touring commitments, Evans is currently writing for his sophomore release to hit later this year.
