TFK previous two albums, Set It Off and Phenomenon, have sold in excess of 200,000 copies. Combined, theyve had 4 #1's and 3 more top 5 radio singles. During their extensive concert touring, they have been able to share the stage with acts such as Jimmy Eat World, The Donnas, Three Days Grace, Chevelle, and Switchfoot. This tour will give them their first chance to do the show theyve wanted to do for years.
The line-up on The Art of Breaking tour will feature label mate Hawk Nelson, and special guests Credential Recording artist Dizmas and Gotee Records group 4th Avenue Jones.
Tooth & Nails Hawk Nelson is once again taking on the Hollywood scene with a cameo performance in the remake of the 1968 romantic comedy Yours, Mine and Ours singing Bring Em Out, a song they wrote specifically for the film with Trevor McNevan (lead singer of Thousand Foot Krutch). Yours, Mine and Ours will open nationwide on November 23rd. Their appearance in Yours, Mine and Ours follows their television debut in NBCs American Dreams, where the band emulated rock legend The Who singing the hit song My Generation. Hawk Nelsons songs have also been featured on the WBs shows Smallville, Summerland, and in 2004 NBC Summer Olympic commercials. Last July, Hawk Nelson released their national debut, Letters to the President and on October 4, they will release Letters to the President Special Edition, featuring three exclusive acoustic tracks (Take Me, Every Little Thing, and Letters to the President). It will also include the song My Generation as heard on American Dreams.
Coming from Southern California, DIZMAS has brought us its own unique style of music, blending modern rock with screaming melodies and what they call "honest rock n roll". The bands debut album, On A Search In America, released on June 21st.
4th Avenue Jones new album, Stereo: The Evolution of Hiprocksoul, has been explained by frontman Ahmad Jones as an optimistic celebration of music. Ahmad Jones has had a great deal of success in music starting back in the 90s during his solo career with his Platinum single Back in the Day. Once he formed 4th Avenue Jones, they had success on tours with artists such as The Roots and Sheryl Crow. With their most recent single, Stereo, playing on the radio now, this is the first tour they are doing in support of their current album which released on March 29th.
