Creative Trust Workshop’s Warren Barfield is preparing for his first headlining tour since releasing his self-titled debut CD last year. The 15-city West Coast tour will feature special guests’ new artists CTW label-mates BDA and Wrinkle Free Records’ Ever Stays Red.

“It’s been amazing to be part of two great tours this past year with Third Day and FFH, but I have to admit, I’m excited about getting on stage with more time to play; especially the new songs I’m working on for my next record,” said Barfield. “I am also looking forward to sharing the stage with BDA and Ever Stays Red, two great new bands.”

Barfield will have plenty of music for fans attending the November dates in Arizona, California, Oregon and Washington State. He will perform music from his debut album, including his radio hits, My Heart Goes Out, Mistaken and Soak it Up, and his Keith Green tribute song of Oh Lord You’re Beautiful, which is on the upcoming CCM Top 100 Greatest Songs in Christian Music, Vol. 1. Barfield is also writing music for a 2005 new studio recording.

Barfield’s special guests are both new artists, hoping to make new fans on this tour. Creative Trust Workshop’s BDA, the five-member band from Greenville College, will have just released its debut, Better Days Ahead, when the tour starts. The October 26th release features BDA’s first CHR and rock single, Maybe You, which is currently climbing the charts, and Mystery of You, going for adds at AC radio at the end of October. Ever Stays Red released its Wrinkle Free Records debut, I’ll Tell the World. The band’s first single, I’ll Tell the World, is climbing the Christian radio rock charts.

Since releasing his album last August, Barfield has spent virtually the entire year on stage, gaining fans and exposure along the way. He logged two tour legs with FFH and Big Daddy Weave last fall and again this spring and the 30-city Third Day Live tour with special guest tobyMac. This past summer, he performed solo dates at several key summer festivals including KXOJ’s Freedom Live in Oklahoma, KLTY’s Celebrate Freedom Concert, AtlantaFest, Alive Festival in Ohio and Spirit West Coast in California. He also performed at Disney’s Night of Joy earlier this month.
