Mark described the release by saying, "'Going Around The World’ is an album that proclaims a destiny for my worship ministry. It features different styles of music that will attract people of different cultures, socio-economic backgrounds and lifestyles. It is a ‘Passport to Worship,’ meeting people where they are to take them to a new level of intimacy and experience of God’s presence."
In support of Going Around The World, C.H.I.L.L. Entertainment (Changing Hearts Instead of Losing Lives) will be promoting a 30-city “Passport to Worship” tour from February 27, 2006 to April 6, 2006.
