Chris Tomlin
One of the premier songwriters of today, sixsteps/Sparrow Records’ Chris Tomlin is known for writing “Forever,” “We Fall Down,” “The Wonderful Cross,” and “Famous One” which are sung by millions of people each week in churches around the world. Tomlin recently made radio history by becoming the first artist ever on R & R’s Christian AC chart to have two Top 10 songs, both his first No. 1 radio hit “Indescribable” and his second and current No. 1 hit, “Holy Is The Lord.” The songs, featured on his release Arriving, remained together in the Top 10 for five consecutive weeks this spring.
Debuting at No. 39 on the Billboard Top 200, Arriving was mentioned in USA Today for its sales success, was given a four-out-of-four star review by Knight Ridder News Service, was a top pick for favorite worship album of the year by ChristianityToday.com and received a GMA Music Award for Praise & Worship Album of the year.
