Autumn Records
The new Christmas album from Autumn Records features eight Christian guitarists. The project, Christmas Treasures, A McPherson(r) Guitars Instrumental Collection, is set to release in October 2006 and features guitarists such as legendary player Phil Keaggy, Matt McPherson (Founder/designer of McPherson Guitars), Bruce Gaitsch (Michael W. Smith), Dave Cleveland (Steven Curtis Chapman), Mark Baldwin (Kirk Franklin), Michael Hodge (4Him), Michael Ripoll (CeCe Winans) and Tom Hemby (BeBe Winans).All of the songs are performed on McPherson acoustic guitars, along with piano, drums, bass, synthesizers, organ, electric guitars, tin whistle, harmonica, percussion and live string ensembles.

Muriel Anderson
Muriel Anderson is scheduled to release A Guitarscape Christmas on November 24. The CD will be available at on her web site www.murielanderson.com. The single, "Christmas Hymn," from that album will be available on iTunes by November 24, along with songs from her duet Christmas CD, A Little Christmas Gift, with guitarist Jean-Felix Lalanne.
Linda McKechnie and Juju Song
Christmas Collage, featuring concert pianist Linda McKechnie and Jazz Meets Christmas, featuring jazz pianist Juju Song, will be sold exclusively through The Covenant Group stores this fall and Christmas 2006.Both projects are in the Cool Springs Café instrumental series from the Franklin, TN based Cool Springs Records (Word Distribution). Christmas Collage by Linda McKechnie is a classically orchestrated project featuring European traditional carols including “Ding-Dong, Merrily on High,” “The Coventry Carol” and American carols including “I Wonder As I Wander”and “The Birthday Of The King.”
Jazz Meets Christmas by Juju Song features The Cool Springs Jazz Quartet and includes Christmas classics such as “O Come, O Come, Emmanuel,” “Angels We Have Heard on High” and “Joy To The World.” The CD will be perfect for fans of the music of A Charlie Brown Christmas.
