VeggieTales: Minnesota Cuke & The Search For Samsons Hairbrush

Big Idea, Inc. presents VeggieTales: Minnesota Cuke & The Search For Samson’s Hairbrush, coming to stores in June. This movie introduces a courageous, new hero - Minnesota Cuke, and features the adventures of Larry the Cucumber learning to deal with bullies, forgiveness and patience (inspired by Matthew 5:44). The episode is packed with kid friendly bonus features including an interactive storybook, how to draw Minnesota Cuke, the Catacombs game and much more. VeggieTales: Minnesota Cuke & The Search For Samson’s Hairbrush will release on VHS and DVD June 25 and 28 in the CBA and general markets respectively.

Big Idea welcomes GRAMMY and CMA award-winning artist Charlie Daniels to the “VeggieTales” team as the co-writer and performer of the Minnesota Cuke theme song. Larry's popular silly songs also returns with Pizza Angel, featuring Larry bemoaning a late pizza delivery.

Larry the Cucumber stars as Minnesota Cuke, mild-mannered curator of a children’s museum by day, fearless explorer by… well… day. Minnesota learns of Samson’s mysterious hairbrush, and a plot by the Canadians to use its legendary powers to control both sides of Niagara Falls. After embarking on an expedition halfway across the globe, he discovers the man behind the plot is really none other than Professor Rattan, Minnesota’s lifelong nemesis.

It’s a hair-raising adventure with secret underground passageways, melting ice cream and enough wacky twists to keep you hanging on the edge of your seat! Who will find Samson’s hairbrush first? Will Minnesota finally get even with that mean bully Rattan, or will he find the power to forgive?

As an added feature, fans can catch up with Junior Asparagus as he digs deep to find the courage to face the playground bully.
