Reader Stories: How I Released My Christian CD

See Published Stories

In the 21st Century, recording your music and sharing it with friends/family/fans no longer means having to drop thousands of dollars into studio time or getting a record label behind you to get your music "out there." With the availability of plenty of great software and a computer, bands can record good quality music at home. The internet has tons of places where you can put your songs up for free downloads or for sale.

All of that makes it easier than before, but recording and releasing your own tunes is still not for the faint of heart. Marketing yourself takes work - hard work.

Have you released your own CD? Share how you did it, what worked and didn't work and what you learned!
