Music + Lyrics That Glorify Drug & Alcohol Use = ???

Wednesday February 6, 2008
The University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine recently released the results of a study of American music in the journal Archives of Pediatrics & Adolescent Medicine. Researchers broke down the lyrics to 279 of the most popular songs of 2005, (as named by Billboard Magazine) and found that one of every three glorified drugs and alcohol.

“christian music doesn’t glorify anything but jesus”

christian music doesn’t glorify anything but STUPID! i’ve sat through their tasteless, sappy songs and wondered why anyone would choose to. if kids listened to more music and watched less tv they would get more of the “right idea” about drugs — because they would have more time to get it from reliable sources. the media are not reliable sources, and kids really aren’t dumb enough to think they are.
