Bible Verse of the Day
- Proverbs 8:17 (Today's New International Version)
I love those who love me, and those who seek me find me.
If we love God, He loves us right back. Wouldn't it be wonderful if it were that easy with each other?

Did You Know ...
- ... That Kevin Max's favorite classic Christmas song is "Holly Jolly Christmas" by Burl Ives, his favorite Christmas album is Band Aid’s Do They Know its Christmas? and his favorite Christmas movie is A Christmas Carol with George C. Scott?
On the subject of Christmas gifts, he says that the best gift he has ever received was his daughter Londan Ava Kay Max. The best gift he's given? A overseas vacation to his wife.
Kevin's favorite Christmas tradition is singing 'round the piano and his favorite Christmas memory is opening all of the presents with his brother and then taping them back with ultimate precision!

Warren Truitt, our Guide to Children's Music, has put together a list of Christmas collections that feature "back-to-basics" renditions of wintry fireside classics, plus a couple of "essential listening" soundtracks. Deck the Halls with These Holiday Tunes!
Recipe of the Day
- If you've been exploring Christmas with me for the past year or two, then you already know that I like to go against the "norm" with my holiday cooking. Christmas parties always seem to have the same basic foods, so for our Christmas get-together this year, everybody is going to bring their favorite Chinese dish. My contribution ...
Princess Chicken. The chicken is coated in a flavorful marinade with five-spice powder, then stir-fried with fresh mushrooms, sliced red bell pepper and cashews. I'll be more than doubling Rhonda's recipe, but it is so doable!
Saying Merry Christmas ...
- In Brazilian: Feliz Natal
