Start Day 18 in the Countdown to Christmas with the strong message from Romans 12:9-13. Keeping that in mind all day will make any day seem better.
Merry Christmas!
Bible Verse of the Day
- Romans 12:9-13 (American Standard Version)
Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.
In love of the brethren be tenderly affectioned one to another; in honor preferring one another;
in diligence not slothful; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;
rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing stedfastly in prayer;
communicating to the necessities of the saints; given to hospitality.
The Apostle Paul laid this out so well that there is simply nothing that I can say that will add to it.

Did You Know ...
- ... That DecembeRadio's drummer, Boone Daughdrill, has two favorite Christmas carols? "Silent Night" and "Mary Did You Know" are his two favorites. However, as much as Boone loves Christmas, he doesn't own a single Christmas album, so he really can't name a favorite CD. He does have a favorite Christmas movie though; A Christmas Story made it to the top of his list.
Boone says that the best Christmas gift he has ever received was his first drum set and he best gift he's given was a tractor set that he gave his dad one year since "Dad loves tractors."
While talking about Christmas traditions and memories, Boone says that his favorite tradition involves family. "The family gettin’ together and eating way too much is my favorite memory. I love to hang out with the family ‘cause I don't get to go home too often, so that is a very special time for me."
As for his favorite memory, Boone has a funny one. He shared, "My favorite Christmas memory is of the night I heard Santa playing my new drums that he brought me… seriously!!! He had some good grooves goin’ on. It woke me up, but he was gone by the time I got to the living room."
