Speaking about her own mom, Stephanie said, "I never truly understood the depth of my mother’s love until I had children of my own. I was blown away by not only how much you love your children, but how deeply you "fall in love" with your children. To be so "in love" with my kids made me realize how much my mother loved me. "Motherly love" is a beautiful mystery and definitely a gift from God’s own heart. To think that mere humans can love that deeply makes me even more in awe of the way that God must love us as His children. I hope I can somehow let my mother know this Mother’s Day how much I appreciate her legacy of love to me and how I want to pass that on to my own children.
