The official Top 10 Christian hit songs list is compiled by your Guide by checking and averaging Christian charts from all over the U.S. such as Billboard and R&R.
Casting Crowns and Chris Tomlin sit on top in the Top 10 for the week ending February 10, 2008. The GRAMMYs may not recognize Casting Crowns as a winner, but we sure do.

Beach Street RecordsThis beautiful song, off of the latest Casting Crowns release,
The Altar and The Door, is one of my favorites. The usual fare from Casting Crowns, "East to West" boasts deep, meaningful lyrics, a perfect blend on the vocals and sterling musicianship. After only four weeks in the Top 10, this song moved up to number one and it stayed there for 19 weeks until dipping for two weeks. Now it's back on top, proving that you can't keep a good song down.

INOThink Casting Crowns' "Who Am I" and you'll get an idea of the theme behind "God With Us."
Who are we that You would be mindful of us what do...
MercyMe has hit the bulls-eye again with this first single off of their latest album, All That Is Within Me. This week it holds firm at number 3.

SparrowStaying put at number 4, this song is a hit for West. Off of the new release,
Something To Say, Matthew West has a great deal to say after successful vocal cord surgery. This album isn't simply food for thought ... it's food for your spirit.

Provident"Never Going Back To OK," which debuted 4 weeks ago, is the title track off of of the band's upcoming February release. Upbeat pop is the phrase of the day and The Afters do it quite well.

Flicker Records"Unbreakable," which debuted 3 weeks ago, is the title track off of the upcoming March release from Fireflight. This tune has been featured on NBC's "Bionic Woman" and it rocks!

BEC Recordings"Believe," which debuted 2 weeks ago, brings us Justin Anderson doing some incredible vocals (not unusual, I know) over more "pop" sounding acoustic music.

Tooth & Nail"Carry Me Down," which debuted 4 weeks ago, is one of the slower, more melodic songs on
Storm The Gates Of Hell. Not typical DH, but not bad either.
