The official Top 10 Christian hit songs list is compiled by your Guide by checking and averaging Christian charts from all over the U.S. such as Billboard and R&R.
In the Weekly Top 10 this week, Third Day and MercyMe hold onto their spots with ease. New music abounds though, with tunes coming in from Brandon Heath, James Fortune & Fiya and Rush of Fools.
1. "Call My Name" - Third Day
"Call My Name," which debuted 11 weeks ago, is off of the new album, Revelation, which released on July 29th and rocks all the way to the top! Brad Avery may be missing, but the classic Third Day sound sure isn't.

3. "I'm Letting Go" - Francesca Battistelli
Moving up from #5, "I'm Letting Go" is off of Francesca's debut album with Fervent, My Paper Heart. The song, just like the lady herself, is catchy and the pop tune is a great taste of what's to come on the rest of the album.
4. "Jesus Messiah" - Chris Tomlin
"Jesus Messiah," which debuted 2 weeks ago, is off of Chris Tomlin's upcoming release Hello Love which will hit stores on September 2, 2008. This song released to radio on June 13th and it was the most added song on Christian Adult Contemporary, Christian Hit Radio, and Christian Inspirational radio that week, with 97 total adds, (according to Radio & Records).
5. "Give Me Your Eyes" - Brandon Heath
Debuting this week, "Give Me Your Eyes" is off of Brandon's upcoming release, What If We, which hits stores on August 19th. A soft melody carries a big stick on this tune.
6. "The Hunger" - Fireflight
"The Hunger," which debuted 3 weeks ago, is off of the March release, Unbreakable. Dawn Richardson's voice absolutely shines on this song and the message (stuff won't fill the God-shaped hole in our lives) is right on.
7. "I Trust You" - James Fortune & Fiya
Debuting this week, "I Trust You" is off of the April 2007 release, The Transformation. With a very Kirk Franklin'ish type of sound, this song (and the wonderful vocals and harmonies) soars.
8. "Can't Get Away" - Rush of Fools
Debuting this week, "Can't Get Away" is off of Rush of Fools' debut album, which hit stores last year. Very light worship sounding, this is the seond radio release from the album.
9. "Never Would Have Made It" - Marvin Sapp
"Never Would Have Made It," which debuted last August, is off of Marvin Sapp's seventh album, Thirsty. With a voice that is as smooth as glass and the background vocals courtesy of Myron Butler & Levi, this motivational and moving song has everything going for it. That's probably why R&R has it listed as being in their Top 10 for over 60 weeks.
10. "Captives Come Home" - Run Kid Run
In week number 9 in the Top 10, "Captives Come Home" is from the April release, Love At The Core. In a word, this song is big ... big vocals, big chorus, big punch.
